Is the LO-Tigard Water Partnership in Trouble with Surrounding Communities?

To ALL COLA LO Members,

Last week a West Linn resident published an article in the Oregonian questioning the LO-Tigard Water Partnership and its impact on their community.   It presents an interesting perspective form residents of our neighbor community and their concerns.
The article can be found at Not Sold On Lake Oswego Plan.

This follows another article by a Jennings Lodge resident expressing concerns about the project.   The article can be found in Pipeline a Bad Idea

In  the same issue as the West Linn residents article the project Director for the Partnership presented his position on the issues surrounding the partnership and its direction as questioned in the Jennings Lodge residents article.   The article can be found at Water Partnerships Manager Answers Questions.

Its no secret that this project is largely responsible for the ever increasing water bills of LO residents and the community is concerned about the project and its impact on rates.    Could the conflict with surrounding communities increase the overall cost of this project?   Only time will tell but its worth observing.
